You can't miss picking the Cherokee for breakfast. Food is always on point, they have very friendly staff, and an atmosphere that can't be found anywhere else in the Universe! Keep the service tight and keep those tongs a tongin' in the kitchen, Cherokee!

Excellent staff and food. Great coffee and first restaurant I've ever seen actually butter the toast completely. LOL. We definitely will be back maybe more than you want to see us LOL.

Whether you dine in or take out the food is always excellent here. Great staff and decent prices. I’ve never gotten food that wasn’t fresh hot and delicious. This restaurant has been here for a long time and you can see why with every visit. One of my favorite breakfast places in Muskegon.

Cherokee has the best breakfast in Muskegon and surrounding area. Always greeted upon entering and seated in a reasonable amount of time. Waited on quickly and everyone is so friendly. The food is excellent and always consistent. Tastes like homemade every time. Wait staff was quick with refills and to check if we needed anything and to make sure we were satisfied. Did not feel rushed to eat. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the best bang for the buck for breakfast with family, friends, or going to the Lake. Feels like home.

Edit: *7 Months Later* We came back to see if the Cherokee is just as good as we remember, and sure enough it is. We have noticed places around the area are increasing their prices for the blame of Covid-19, however Cherokee has NOT increased any prices whatsoever. This in my book makes it all the better. Quantity and quality is all the same as before making this place very consistent in its flavors and endeavors it has to offer. I still would pick Cherokee over the others as it is very little wait times (10:00am - 1:00pm) despite being a power hour, and are quick for food to come to order. Original Review: This is our second time back at the Cherokee Restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing from the pancakes to the Texas French toast, and everything in between. Customer service is fantastic and is always accommodating! Compared to many other breakfast places in Muskegon this in my opinion recieved the only 5 star due to its price, taste, and customer service.

The outside is delightfully quirky, but inside you'll find reasonably priced breakfast items, great service, and good food. The coffee was okay, but our cups never ran dry. Service is efficient and friendly.
